PRODUCT VIDEO GUIDES

If there is anything you’ve always wanted to know about CCTV but were too afraid to ask then here is the place to get answers. We’re not expecting to win any Oscars but bear with us. We sell CCTV not acting lessons! All the CCTV footage is filmed using products from the website, so if you see something in the video you know it does what it says on the box.

The videos cover a number of different topics, and things to consider during the planning stage of a CCTV system. Where to position the cameras, what type to buy and install and so on. A lot of it is common sense but all too often people get it wrong. Many of the points covered in these videos won’t cost you anything to implement but will reap rewards in terms of the effectiveness of your CCTV system.

We also cover the specifics of our products. DVR recorders in particular are feature-packed so understanding them and using the various functions can sometimes be confusing. We try to talk you through the various functions like motion-triggered recording or backing up an important event that you’ve captured.

Remote access to your CCTV system over the internet is a feature many people are keen to exploit. We were one of the first companies to offer a remote set up service for this if IT and computers aren’t your thing. We cover this and include viewing using mobile devices such as phones and tablets (such as an iPad).

Finally, we cover many of the products we sell, particularly the cameras. How do you install them and make final adjustments? Tips to avoid common mistakes and so on. We also explain how to use CAT5 or CAT6 cable to connect your cameras to the DVR. This is really easy and requires no specialist tools such as crimpers.
