This wireless mouse is a direct replacement for the mouse supplied with our DVR recorders and can be used with either our standard or HD-TVI recorders. A small receiver plugs into the DVR recorder and the mouse comes complete with batteries so everything is ready to roll. An optical sensor means accurate placement and no worries with dirt pick up on tracking wheels. The receiver and mouse automatically detect each other so it's a case of plug and play with no need for any initialisation. The exact range between mouse and receiver will vary with location but we would suggest a maximum range of around 10 metres in the open air as a guide. Walls and other obstructions will reduce this figure. Using this mouse it is possible to locate the DVR out of sight and still control it from a desktop. The product operates on a licence free 2.4GHz band, this has a superior range to 27MHz units.
