When used in conjunction with our Facial recognition range of NVRs this camera allows you to keep a log of known individuals and search footage by person. You can also generate alerts based on individuals. The 2.8-12mm Motorised lens allows the camera to be used for anything from wide-angle overviews with short distance identification to more narrow angle longer range identification up to around 15 meters. This latest generation features a motorised zoom lens and auto focussing to simplify installation and set-up. The zoom can either be controlled using the toggle switch on the camera fly lead or remotely via the NVR. No additional wiring is required for the motorised zoom. The camera features built-in infrared illumination allowing it to see in complete darkness. As light levels drop to zero the IR automatically turns on and the camera switches to black-and-white night time mode. An extended deep base is available to buy separately which accommodates the RJ45 and power connectors (if not using POE). The camera is available in either dark grey or white, please select when ordering. The camera can be used indoors or outside and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. There is ample adjustment allowing the camera to be pointed in any direction within a 180-degree semi-sphere. The metal body and mounting method make it a rugged camera. Compact IP66 metal body.
