The Recorder

Ultra-high resolution 8MP (4K) POE NVR (Network Video recorder) with analytic capability. This NVR is designed to be used as the heart of your IP CCTV system. It can process up to 8 camera feeds each with up to 8MP (4K) resolution. It is suitable for all camera resolutions up to 8MP and can power 8 cameras through its POE ports. Supports specialist cameras such as our IP ANPR cameras. As with all our recorders, we offer full technical support in the event you have any problems setting up or using your system. With IP-based CCTV systems, the cameras do not need to be wired directly into the NVR. The NVR is connected to your network and detects any IP cameras also connected to the network. Remote access using a PC, MAC, mobile phone or tablet. Free App for mobile devices and viewing software for computers is available to download. A host of features include motion-detected recording, email alert, PTZ camera control, and Schedule recording options for normal and motion-triggered recording. Analytic features for Advanced CCTV recording. A remotely accessible menu allows setting changes to be made off-site. Secure login with individual user access control. Back up directly onto a computer or via a memory stick. HDMI or VGA monitor output.

The Cameras

In the package we have included 8MP 4K 2.8-12mm varifocal cameras rather then lower resolution fixed lens cameras which would only give you wide angle images that would only be good for very short ranges. The 2.8-12mm lens allows the camera to be used for anything from wide angle 90 degree over views with short distance identification of 3 to 5 metres up to a more narrow angle 20 degree angle of view with longer distance identification up to around 25 metres. This latest generation features a motorised zoom lens and auto focussing to simplify installation and set up. The zoom can either be controlled remotely via the NVR or through the freely available app.
The camera features built in infra red illumination allowing it to see in complete darkness. As light levels drop to zero the IR automatically turns on and the camera switches to black and white night time mode. Video and power is via an POE connector or 12 volt power input is by industry standard jack socket.

An extended deep base is available to buy separately which accommodates the connection between camera and cable run. The camera is available in either dark grey. The camera can be used inside or out and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. There is ample adjustment allowing the camera to be pointed in any direction within a 180 degree semi sphere. The metal body and mounting method make it resistant to being nudged out of the way.
