A good quality professional Vandal dome camera suitable for internal or external use. 8.0mm fixed lens gives more detail than the 4.0mm fixed lens camera but has a slightly narrower field of view. Built in Infra-red lighting allows filming in complete darkness.

A general purpose fixed lens vandal dome camera that packs a punch well above it's price point might suggest. 8mm gives an angle of view of just over 40 degrees. Being a fixed lens camera there is a danger you might not be able to perfectly frame your chosen subject in the way you could when using vari-focal zoom lens camera so do consider this option.

As a guide to detail levels that can be captured using this camera a car number plate will be readable up to approximately 6-8 metres away during day the daytime.
